History
The businesses that function under the brand name Agrocentre have existed for the last twenty years. The origin of the Agrocentre dealerships goes back to 1969. At that time, the business was under the banner of Canadian Industries Limited (C I L) whose co-owners were often private businessmen. In 1989, C I L decided to sell its shares to the Québec Federated Cooperative, also a qualified supplier of agricultural goods and services. It was during the l980’s that the Agrocentre brand name was registered as we know it today. This transition explains why Agrocentre rests on a solid agricultural footing ensuring the efficient transfer of knowledge over the last decades.
