Vision

Agrocentre Farnham is run by two co-owners : Raymond Lemoine, President and CEO, and his son, Jean-François Lemoine, Agr., Vice-President. The two owners strive to build solid professional relationships with their clients as well as with their employees and suppliers. This vision is reflected in the quality of the services Agrocentre Farnham offers and the excellent relations that exist between employees, both permanent and seasonal. The team members’ experience, whether in agricultural production, maintenance, logistics, IT, administration or agronomy, guarantees extraordinary customer service.

A Few Key Dates

1967


A partnership is developed between Canadian Industries Limited (C-I-L) and Les engrais Harbec, co-owned by Gérard Harbec.

Early 1970s

C-I-L buys Les engrais Harbec.

1983


C-I-L sells 50% of its shares to co-owners in order to become an Agrocentre franchise.

1988


Following a merger with DuPont Chemicals and the development of the southeastern Vallée du Richelieu region, Agrocentre Farnham builds a distribution and administrative centre from which to conduct its activities in the Stanbridge Station area.

1989


La Coop fédérée (then known as Coopérative fédérée de Québec) buys C-I-L’s shares.

2013


In November 2013, Agrocentre Farnham acquires Entreprises McPell Inc., thus reinforcing its presence in the grain trade in its area of service.

Characteristics of the Area Served

Bordered to the east by the Richelieu River, to the north by Route 112, and to the south by the U.S. border, Agrocentre Farnham serves the southeastern Vallée du Richelieu region. Dairy, hog and field crop operations dominate in this region.
 

Specifications

Agrocentre Farnham is an MS spraying equipment dealer. It also acts as a broker in the grain trade.
