Some important dates
1967
Establishment of a partnership between Canadian Industries Limited (CIL) and Harbec Fertilizers, co-owned by Gérard Harbec.
Beginning of the ‘70’s
CIL buys Harbec Fertilizers.
1983
CIL sells 50% of its shares its partners enabling the business to become an Agrocentre.
1988
Agrocentre Farnham becomes the distribution and administration center supporting the activities in Standbridge Station and the development of the south-east region of the Richelieu Valley after merging with Dupont Chemical Products.
1989
The Québec Federated Coop buys out the shares of CIL.
Vision
Agrocentre Farnham is run by two co-owners, Daniel Brodeur, CEO and Raymond Lemoine Jr., vice-president and sales manager. For the past 25 years, these two co-owners have overseen the establishment of solid professional relationships between the customers, employees and suppliers.

This vision is reflected in the services provided and the good relations that exist between the members of the personnel: permanent employees as well as the seasonal workers. The experience of all the different members of the personnel, whether in the production, maintenance, logistics, computer technology, administration or agronomy guarantee customer service of the highest quality.
Characteristics of the Territory
Agrocentre Farnham serves the south-east region of the Richelieu Valley, situated on the west by the Richelieu River, on the north by Highway 112 and on the south by the United States border. The agriculture in this area consists of dairy, pork and field crop farming.
Specifications
Besides being an agent for MS pulverizing equipment, Agrocentre Farnham also acts as a merchant in cereal marketing.

Agrocentre Farnham has the exclusive distribution rights to the following seeds: Syngenta, NK, Prograin, Hyland, Pickseed and SQS.
