The foundation of Agrocentre under the name Y.Roy Chemical Fertilizers Inc. The shareholders are Mr.Yves Roy and the Canadian Industries Limited (CIL).
1985
Buying out of the shares of Mr.Yves Roy by Mr. Jean-Claude Marchand and Mr.Maurice Dudemaine to become Agrocentre Vinisol.
1989
The Federated Coop (formerly the Québec Federated Cooperative) buys the shares of Canadian Industries Limited (CIL).
1997
Acquisition of the shares of Mr.Maurice Dudemaine by Mr.Jean-Claude Marchand.
2002
Mrs.France Béliveau, Mr. Christian Arsenault and Mr.Paul Bourgault become new shareholders with Jean-Claude Marchand and the Federated Coop.
Management
Jean-Claude Marchand has been in the business for the last 42 years. He had been CEO since his arrival February 13, 1985.
Mrs. France Béliveau began working at Agrocentre Vinisol Inc. in May of 1985. She has been responsible for accounting since l997, the year she became a shareholder and was named vice-president.
Vision
Agrocentre Vinisol Inc specializes in the sale of supplies for conventional and biological agricultural producers. Our engagement is to offer the best products required for vegetable production and to maintain and improve the fertility of our soil with respect to the environment.
It is important for us to have a team of specialists in vegetable production with the best knowledge possible. Continuing education allows us to obtain this know-how and enables us to adequately advise our agricultural producers.
Territory

Agrocentre Vinisol Inc. covers an area south of the Saint Lawrence River: from the Saint-Francois River that begins at Pierreville south to the United States and east towards Beauce. On the northern shore of the Saint Lawrence River, the territory extends from Louisville to Québec and Ile d’Orléans.
Distribution
Agrocentre Vinisol Inc. distributes Syngenta (NK), Hyland, Prograin, Semican and SQS seeds.
The business also distributes Agotain, a product used to treat urea allowing the producer to reduce the application of nitrogen by using urea in post-emergence corn which generates important time and fuel savings.
