This motto is the vision of Agrocentre Technova Inc. and its team. Agrocentre Technova Inc. is a new entity, recently founded on January 1, 2019. It is a merger of two existing Agrocentres, Agrocentre St-Pie and Agrocentre Vinisol, that had been operating since the creation of the Agrocentre network in 1989.
In an effort to evolve professionally, they decided to unite their business strengths to establish their presence in the area and remain at the cutting edge in their fields. Agrocentre Technova Inc. is specialized in retailing inputs and in providing agronomic advice to farmers.

The foundation of a company is the strength of its team. Our success is a combination of vision and dedicated members who make up Agrocentre Technova Inc. Approximately 95 employees work hard every day to offer the best to our clients. The sales team is composed of technologists and agronomists who strive to provide the best advice and farm products to help farmers move their businesses forward. The other members at Agrocentre Technova belong to the administrative and production teams and play similarly meaningful roles to provide a top service to farmers.

Background

2014 - Agrocentre Vinisol and Agrocentre St-Pie, known today as Agrocentre Technova, acquires an independent retailer based in Compton, Estrie, operating mainly in agricultural consulting and seed sales (corn, soybean, cereal crops, and fodder plants) and crop protection products. With the merger, Semestrie becomes a division of Agrocentre Technova Inc. and adds fertilizer sales to its service offering for Estrie-based clients.

2019 – New shareholders join following the merger. Agrocentre Technova Inc. now has seven shareholders, all employed by the company in various roles. Stéphane Chaume, an agronomist, is the Chair, and France Béliveau is the Vice-President. Each has respectively 15 and 25 years of experience with the Agrocentre network in governance and management roles. Both are strategic assets in Agrocentre Technova’s vision. Looking in the same direction, Technova's shareholders are pursuing their objectives by uniting and building on each other’s strengths to stay leaders.

Operating in a vast area in Montérégie-Est, Centre-du-Québec, Estrie, and a part of the North Shore from around Louiseville to Île d'Orléans, Agrocentre Technova has three main branches with related secondary production and logistic plans. The various productions intertwine with regions in which field and vegetable crops have precedence but which also include a high level of pig and dairy farming in various sectors.
