HISTORY

TIMELINE

1969 : The origin of the Agrocentre network dates back to 1969. The banner at that time was C-I-L (Canadian Industries Limited). The co-owners were often private partners.

1989,  C-I-L divests itself of its shares and sells them to La Coop fédérée, then known as Coopérative fédérée de Québec.
The name Agrocentre is registered as the trademark we have come to know today. Looking back, we can understand why the Agrocentre network’s expertise rests on such a solid agricultural foundation, benefiting from highly effective knowledge transfer over the decades.

The Agrocentre network is composed of five dynamic SMEs managed locally by business people who are also co-owners. This is one of the distinctive features of our business model.
